cargo-partner offers specialized services worldwide to optimize customers' supply chains. In recent months, our Hungarian team has successfully developed B2B (Business to Business) and B2C (Business to Customer) logistics processes for a Hungarian-owned cosmetics company, enabling the customer to manage their web shop orders under one roof.
With the global rise of e-commerce, it is no surprise that it is gaining increasing attention in Hungary as well. More and more small businesses are deciding to launch their own online stores, aiming to simplify their logistics processes as much as possible. To remain competitive, fast and efficient deliveries as well as integrated and flexible warehousing solutions are essential. cargo-partner offers innovative, industry-specific B2B and B2C solutions to meet these challenges and help businesses grow.
cargo-partner's multi-tenant, multi-industry warehouses are equipped to handle larger volumes of products, a characteristic essential for B2B operations. This infrastructure enables the company to provide robust and scalable logistics solutions that cater to the diverse needs of different industries and business sizes.
The Beginning of a Successful Partnership
After almost a year of negotiations and preparations, the company's Hungarian team entered into a successful collaboration with a leading distributor of cosmetic products in May this year. To support the company's e-commerce growth, cargo-partner implemented complex B2B and B2C logistics solutions.
"The cosmetics company had not worked with us before, so we were eager to get started. Thanks to the API integration with the company's online store, customer and partner orders appear instantly in the cargo-partner system, with a separate view of B2B and B2C orders. This integrated solution uses the APIs required for web shop order processing and tracking and provides the customer-centric front-end for the entire operation through the SPOT eWarehouse platform," said Attila Becze, cargo-partner's Managing Director for Hungary and Romania.
cargo-partner's primary services for the cosmetics company include B2B and B2C inbound and outbound shipping and warehousing services. For B2B, the logistics company handles standard palletized shipping, domestic distribution, carton and piece level picking, and labeling. For B2C, cargo-partner manages the preparation, labeling, and delivery of packages with local CEP partners. It is important to note that B2B and B2C clients have different needs and therefore require different business processes and web shop functions. To serve B2B clients, cargo-partner also offers customized pricing and payment options, as well as specialized services.
"This is the first time in the history of cargo-partner in Hungary that we are simultaneously managing B2B and B2C needs for a single customer. Initially, this dual management presented certain challenges, but thanks to our excellent team and the company's 'we take it personally' philosophy, we developed seamless solutions for these order requirements," explained Attila Becze.
With this project, Hungary joins a number of other countries where cargo-partner is already successfully serving customers by handling both their B2C and B2B needs simultaneously. cargo-partner's ability to onboard customers in different markets enables companies to seamlessly expand beyond their domestic borders. This is particularly beneficial for European, American and Asian online retailers targeting high-demand markets such as the UK.
