This achievement places the company among the top 8% of all businesses assessed by EcoVadis and in the top 3% of the “Other Transportation Support Activities” sector.

“ESG is an integral part of our strategy, and this recognition from EcoVadis affirms our commitment to responsible business practices,” said Luca Ferrara, CEO of cargo-partner. “We are continuously working to minimize our environmental impact, improve efficiency, and support our customers in achieving their sustainability goals. From Bronze to Silver in One Year
Just last year, cargo-partner was proud to receive the EcoVadis Bronze Medal, having elevated its score from 44 to 58 points. The latest Silver Medal recognition reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to sustainability, responsible business practices, and continuous improvement across environmental, social, and governance areas.

cargo-partner is actively reducing emissions through various initiatives, including the use of rail transport, electric trucks, and alternative fuels such as Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Sustainable Marine Fuels (SMF), and Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO). The company has also installed photovoltaic systems at multiple locations, with further expansions planned across European warehouses. Additionally, the cargo-partner iLogistics Center, opened in 2018 near Vienna International Airport, was constructed entirely from wood, reducing CO₂ emissions by 8,400 tons.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, cargo-partner has achieved 52% ISO 14001 certification coverage across its sites, ensuring compliance with internationally recognized environmental management standards. As a member of the UN Global Compact, the company aligns its operations with universal principles on human rights, labor, and environmental responsibility.

Looking ahead, cargo-partner is committed to further advancing its sustainability efforts, including ambitious 2030 emission reduction targets, expanded use of renewable energy, and continuous development of green logistics solutions. The EcoVadis Silver Medal marks an important step forward, reinforcing cargo-partner’s role as a responsible and future-focused logistics provider.
