15th Anniversary of cargo-partner Netherlands
cargo-partner in the Netherlands is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year. We opened our first office in Rotterdam in 2006 and have grown steadily since then.
We started out with eleven employees in our Rotterdam office, specializing in seafreight solutions. Soon after this, we opened an office in Amsterdam focusing on airfreight. Today, we have a team of 64 employees in Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Roermond and have expanded our service portfolio into road and rail transport as well as warehousing.
One of the highlights of the past 15 years was the relocation to a new office in Amsterdam in 2018. After 12 years of success in the Netherlands, we moved to a brand-new facility at the newly constructed cargo area near Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, more than doubling our office space.
In February 2021, we took another significant step with the acquisition of Transcargo B.V. With this, we also gained 17,000 m² of storage space in Roermond, a strategic logistics hub located close to the borders with Belgium, Luxembourg and Germany.
Enzo Philips, Managing Director of cargo-partner in the Netherlands, outlines the company’s priorities for the future: “In the coming years, we want to accelerate our growth while maintaining our high quality standards and personal service for our customers. Our long-term ambition is to expand our warehousing activities in the Netherlands and become one of the top 15 air and seafreight providers in the country.”
