A Helping Hand to Ukrainian Children in Moldova
We are working with with “Jugend Eine Welt” and their project partner “Salesians of Don Bosco” to help children and young people in Moldova who have been displaced from Ukraine.
Since April 2022, we’ve been supporting a project that aims to help young refugees from Ukraine to overcome trauma and aid their integration into society through a range of educational and leisure activities. This offer is also available to Moldovan children from difficult backgrounds.
The after-school program offers language classes, psychosocial services and summer camps where 160 children and young people can take advantage of sports and creative activities while receiving psychological care as well as classes in reading, writing and IT led by Ukrainian teachers.
